Trump called Putin ‘crazy’ and declared that Russia is nearing its end.

On Sunday, former President Donald Trump announced a delay in implementing a proposed 50% tariff on goods from the European Union. He also gained attention by expressing his views on russia’s recent intensified strikes on ukraine, criticizing both russian president vladimir putin and ukrainian president volodymyr zelenskyy.

Trump shared his thoughts on his social media account, reminiscing about his previous relationship with Putin but expressing that the russian leader’s recent behavior indicated a significant change. Referring to the overnight assault on ukrainian cities, Trump described the attacks as “unconscionable” and reiterated his longstanding belief that putin’s ultimate goal is to seize all of ukraine, not just certain regions. He cautioned that pursuing such ambitious goals could potentially lead to the downfall of Russia.

Trump also directed criticism at zelenskyy, accusing the ukrainian leader of making inflammatory remarks that he claimed were worsening the situation. He advised zelenskyy to change his approach, emphasizing that his remarks were not helpful.
Speaking later to reporters in washington, d.C., trump elaborated on his stance, expressing shock and disapproval of putin’s actions. “i’m really not pleased with what putin is doing,” trump said. “he’s launching rockets while peace talks are underway. it’s a very dangerous situation.” I’ve known him for a while, and this behavior is completely out of character for him.

He mentioned that the russian military’s recent barrage consisted of hundreds of missiles, drones, and other weapons, as reported by the ukrainian air force. Despite ongoing peace talks and a prisoner exchange program, Russia’s attacks have escalated for the fourth consecutive night.

Trump also mentioned the possibility of imposing further sanctions on Russia, stating, “without a doubt, I would.” The number of lives lost is excessive. “What’s happened to him? He’s completely out of character!”

In other news, Trump expressed concerns about the lack of transparency from Harvard University, urging the institution to provide more details about its international student population. Simultaneously, in legislative updates, the House of Representatives passed the “one comprehensive bill act” to endorse President Trump’s domestic initiatives. The bill will now undergo a review process and may undergo changes before being considered by the senate.
