Gloria Busingye, popularly known as Gloria Bugie, is lighting up the Rwandan-Ugandan music scene with her first official single, “KAMPALA” — a soulful love anthem that captures the Sadness of being cheated by kampala man.
At just 19 years old, Bugie is proving she’s more than just a law student at the University of Kigali. With deep roots in both Uganda and Rwanda, and a voice that started in school tournaments and church choirs, she’s finally stepping into the spotlight she was born for.
Despite early challenges and her father’s disapproval of music, Gloria never gave up on her dream. “I’ve been singing since I was a little girl,” she says. “Music isn’t hard when you give it your all.”
