A tragic house fire in brent has claimed the lives of a mother and her three children, who have now been identified as nusrat usman, aged 43, maryam mikaiel, 15, musa usman, 8, and raees usman, 4.
Emergency services acted promptly, and four individuals were able to flee before their arrival. Among them was an elderly woman in her seventies, who was brought to the hospital but has since been released. A 13-year-old girl is in critical condition after being hospitalized for several days.
Law enforcement apprehended a 41-year-old individual at the location of the incident, linking him to the occurrence. He was granted bail and subsequently held under the mental health act.
Superintendent Steve Allen of the Metropolitan Police’s North-West London Division expressed his sympathy to the families affected by the incident and commended the heroic actions of the emergency responders and the unwavering support from the community. Victor, a 33-year-old electrician and neighbor, recounted the horrifying incident. Upon hearing cries for help, he shattered a downstairs window to assist those trapped inside. He successfully saved the elderly woman and the severely injured teenager. Pedra remembered the overwhelming heat and thick smoke, realizing that he couldn’t reach the second floor where the mother and youngest child were trapped. He also informed nearby residents who were oblivious to the fire.
